Confirmation

Under Rabbi Gaber’s leadership, confirmation class has become more interactive. Rabbi says, “I consider teens to be a very important part of the synagogue. We call them Jewish adults with Jewish adult responsibilities so they should have input into the way in which they continue to build their Jewish identity.”

Confirmation class is held twice a month during regular Hebrew school hours for students in 8th through 10th grades. Confirmation culminates with a ceremony at the end of 10th grade. Confirmation class students have an opportunity to work as tutors in our religious school on Sundays and Wednesdays.

Confirmation students have participated in various community service projects that include working with an after school program in Trenton and making soup for a Jewish food pantry.

Tuition for Confirmation students is $360 per year. Synagogue membership is not required.
