Shalom Brother of Israel family, Let me wish all of you L' Shana Tova. I hope that you all have a year of health, happiness, peace, and much love. September is back to school. It is also back to minyan month at BOI. Every Sunday that there is religious school, Men's Club sponsors a learner minyan. The minyan starts about 9:20. The service is led by Rabbi Plotkin. It is truly an educational experience. Rabbi explains parts of the service or brings a personal perspective to the service. You do not have to be an expert davener or even read Hebrew that well. Everybody in the synagogue family is invited. After the service we usually have bagels and the fixings. I really enjoy the after minyan bagels as we have discussions solving all the world's problems or the problems with your favorite sports team. A good time is had by all.
