Shalom Chaverim, I know it’s difficult to imagine the sweet smell of blooming hyacinth and the warm hug of sunshine while sitting beneath two feet of snow, but, just this once, let your imagination go wild. Spring is right around the corner. The Boys of Summer will soon be warming up on the field and before you know it, you’ll have to drag out your lawnmower for its premier voyage of the season. This is one reason why I love Purim. I know that this very happy holiday is the first sign that winter is on its way out. This year, we celebrated another fabulous Purim with a fabulous carnival complete with costumes, games, prizes and Hamantaschen! I would like to thank all of our parent volunteers, teachers and tutors for all of their help making our carnival a success. Another sign that Spring is on its way is that Passover is fast approaching. This year for Passover, I wish you all love, happiness and peace in your heart, home and world. Chag Kasher V’Sameach.
