School Age Programs
We welcome new students at every age and grade level and take great pride in how well students with different experiences acclimate quickly in our loving environment. Students who have little or no Hebrew reading and speaking skills may require additional tutoring in preparation for their Bar/Bat Mitzvah. Tuition for all school age students (grades K-10) is $360 per student, per year. There is a one-time Bar/Bat Mitzvah fee billed in 5th grade. Synagogue membership is required when your child(ren) are in 4th-7th grade.
Introduction to Hebrew and holidays through music, art and games. Primary class assignments are made based on enrollment and age levels and are held every Sunday that religious school is in session from 9:15am to 12:15pm.
Religious school for 3rd through 7th grade students is held Wednesday from 4:30pm to 6:30pm and Sunday from 9:15am to 12:15pm. Additional B’nai Mitzvah classes are held for a portion of that year to cover specifics related to becoming a Bar/Bat Mitzvah. Additional Bar/Bat Mitzvah tutoring may be scheduled as needed.
Confirmation classes for students in 8th through 10th grades are held twice a month on Wednesdays during religious school. Teens who enroll in confirmation class are eligible to work as tutors and assistants in the religious school and are confirmed in May of their 10th grade year.
The synagogue and our students participate in youth group programs through USY in a joint chapter with three other local conservative synagogues.
