Farewell and Thank You!
For the past year, I have had the privilege of serving you as Rabbinic Intern,
as well as pursuing a program that leads to my ordination as a rabbi on June 26 of
this year.
I have learned so much from all of you, both in my years as a member of
Congregation Brothers of Israel, and in the last year as Rabbinic Intern. I have
been privileged to celebrate with you, mourn with you, hash out things that are
important to you in many conversations over kiddush and elsewhere, and in
general, get to know you so much better. I will miss you and will always think of
you as I enter the next chapter of my life as a rabbi.
I am grateful to all of you for the opportunity for learning and growth that I
have had at CBOI, and I am especially grateful to the synagogue leadership for
assisting me in pursuing my dream of becoming ordained as a rabbi. Everything
would have been so much more difficult without you.
As I move into the next phase of my career, know that my thoughts and
prayers are always with you, and that I will always think of you with love and
gratitude. Once again, thank you for all you have taught me, and for the privilege
of knowing you.
