Dear Friends,

I am looking forward to the new school year and ready

We are coming home! We will be back to our synagogue home, while maintaining what worked for us this past year.
Religious School will meet:

Primary Class: 9:15-11:30
Alef/Bet and Gesher: 9:15-12
5-6:30 PM

One- on- One tutoring will continue (times to be mutually agreed upon)
After much discussion, we felt this arrangement gives us the best options to meet the needs of each of our students. We will continue preparing throughout the summer and every aspect of creating a safe, secure and viable learning community will be planned.  I welcome your feedback and input. Updates will be sent during the summer.

I am so proud of our synagogue family and how you adapted to the challenges of the past year and a half, and enabled Jewish learning to thrive.
Yasher Koach to our staff for learning so many new tech tools. Thank you to our students and families for learning along with us!

אַשְׁרֵי יוֹשְׁבֵי בֵיתֶֽךָ, עוֹד יְהַלְלֽוּךָ סּֽלָה
Happy are those who dwell in your house.”
These words taken from the Psalms, and part of the prayer service, are traditionally said upon entering a synagogue. I believe that the tradition of reciting Ashrei is also appropriate as we return “home!”  At Congregation Brothers of Israel, we try to create an educated, proud, vibrant, and “happy” community of learners.
